that are perfectly rebuildable and very cheap, whereas the cost of getting a properly built and tuned QJet can be a little stiff nowadays. Holleys can still be found at swap meets, etc. Unlike a QJet, you can tune a Holley without having to disassemble the entire carb, and they are generally not susceptible to warpage like QJets are which can be a very annoying problem. On the other hand, Holleys do have a number of redeeming qualities, not the least of which is ease of tunability. The Carter/ Edelbrock AFB-type carburetors are just weird and fiddly and tend to deteriorate badly once you start trying to tune them and generally are not worth the effort. I'm sorry that I resurrect the old topic, but it's just that I myself once encountered this issue, and spent a lot of time to find really useful information
